Former Senior Marketing Professional for Ubisoft Joins Fast Growing 3D Gesture Recognition Software Provider
Brussels, Belgium - July 1, 2008. Softkinetic S.A., the leading 3D gesture recognition software provider, today announced that Thomas Petersen will be joining Softkinetic as director of business development and marketing. In his new role, Thomas will be responsible for international business development and overall company marketing efforts.

Prior to joining Softkinetic, Thomas worked for more than eight years at Ubisoft where he held several senior marketing and product management roles at Ubisoft’s Paris headquarters and local country offices. While at Ubisoft, he drove brand positioning, oversaw online and offline communication, and led promotional strategies.
Thomas Petersen joins Softkinetic at a pivotal point for the company. Already established for creating innovative gesture-based control technologies for a variety of applications and games, Softkinetic is looking to further expand into advergames, fitness products and other forms of interactive media.
Thomas holds a MBA degree from prestigious Solvay Business School, and technical and business degrees from London’s South Bank University and University of Copenhagen.
