Interactive Marketing
Engage Consumers in New Ways.
The media landscape has changed significantly over the last decade completely altering the traditional view on marketing. The new digital landscape presents a chance for companies to have innovative, deeper, and more relevant relationship with the consumers who are no longer only experiencing brands through mass media. Many leading marketers now create an open-ended dialogue and let the consumers interact with their brands. Electronic gaming is becoming an increasingly integrated part of people’s lives and if you let them play and engage with your product or service they are more likely to absorb, believe and remember your message.
Advergaming - the mix of advertising and gaming – is fun, give instant feedback and make people dream.
Another recent trend in communication has been the emergence of Digital Signage as an out-of-home media channel fuelled by the low price of flat screens but so far even the most advanced systems have not embraced advergames as it has been unprofitable to install arcade machines with controllers prone to theft and breakdowns.

Sofkinetic’s gesture recognition technology together with one single 3D camera can bring the solution to this challenge. Once installed in one or more Digital Signage kiosks, the application – whether it’s a game or a virtual catalogue - can run night and day without any maintenance and support. The consumer simply steps in front of the camera, the application starts and he can now have a fully immersive brand experience without the use of any controllers, markers or personal instructions.
Softkinetic created the ‘Final Drive’ game with the Digital Signage Company Wireless Ronin Technologies for their client Sprint Nextel. The game was installed in the Colt’s Lucas Oil stadium in Indianapolis for the opening of the 2008-2009 NFL season. The gesture recognition software technology tracks the gestures of the player allowing him to become the quarterback and throw the ball to the receivers as if he was actually on the field. The player has one minute to achieve a touchdown bringing instant satisfaction.
